Each of us has a unique recipe for achieving health, wellness, and joy. When we collaborate to identify the strategies, practices, and support resources that work for you, you will have increased access to joy, ease and social connection. I look forward to helping you along the way, using some of the approaches below.
Brainspotting utilizes points in our visual field to gain access to stored trauma, allowing the body to release what is causing distress. By identifying and healing the underlying traumas that contribute to anxiety, depression, and other behavioral or physical conditions, Brainspotting can greatly expedite the therapeutic process.
The beauty of Brainspotting is that the processing of trauma can occur without the retelling of your trauma story. This makes it a particularly gentle way to accelerate your transformation and healing.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
Commonly referred to as “tapping,” EFT is a somatic approach to facilitating change that integrates Eastern and Western perspectives. It leverages the Chinese meridian system by tapping on different acupressure points on the body with your fingertips.
Tapping compliments traditional talk-therapy to help us release emotional overload and accelerate our emotional and physical healing. Best of all, EFT Tapping is a technique you can learn and use on your own as part of your regular self-care practice.
Fengyang style Qi Gong is an easy-to-learn, form of “meditation in motion” that can be practiced by people of all abilities.
Based on the principle of mind/body/spirit unity, Fengyang Qi Gong incorporates gentle, slow movement with intentional breathing, resulting in an increased meditative state. It is a beautiful, meditative practice that brings you together with others while you heal your body and mind.
